💡 Summary. StepLoop is built privacy-first. Your steps, walks, weight log, country, theme choices, and reminder times stay on your phone. We have no servers. We have no user accounts. We do not run advertising. We do not embed analytics SDKs. We do not track you across other apps or websites. Four narrowly-scoped external services are involved when you use the app — Apple, Google, RevenueCat, and OpenWeatherMap — and this policy explains exactly what each one sees and why.

2. What Data StepLoop Collects

2.1 Data stored only on your device

The following is created and stored locally on your phone in StepLoop's app sandbox. It does not leave your device unless you explicitly export it (CSV export, a Pro feature) or back it up to your own device storage.

• Walk and jog sessions (start time, end time, duration, distance, pace, calorie estimate, steps, optional notes)
• Weight log entries (weight value, date)
• Daily step goal
• Reminder times (walk, weight, hydration)
• Theme and accent colour selection
• Country setting (auto-detected on first launch; user-editable)
• Onboarding settings (height, weight, age, sex used for calorie estimation)
• Cached Pro entitlement status
